This product uses whey protein, which contains a good amount of lactose. Some of the people can be lactose intolerant, so I am personally not a big fan of Bang using Whey protein in their energy drink.

The product also has soluble corn fibres, which have been claimed by researchers to be keto friendly, so I am in favor of this ingredient.

Coffee( water, coffee, extract), protein blend (Milk Protein Concentrate, whey protein isolate), Soluble corn fibre, Natural and Artificial flavors, cocoa powder (alkali processed), cellulose gel, caprylic Triglycerides (Straight 8),sweet cream, cellulose gum, mono and diglycerides, sodium tripolyphosphate, Carrageenan, Caffeine, 2:1:1, BCAA BLEND, sucralose, sunflower, Lecithin

This list shows that this product is highly processed. Many of these products have been added to increase the shelf life of the product and improve the flavor. People sensitive to MSG, vegans, vegetarians and people with allergies should look up ‘natural flavoring’ since the sources of these flavoring can be glutamates, allergens, animal products etc.

The drink contains controversial artificial sweeteners in high doses. There have been researches regarding usage of sweeteners over a period of long time. Some sweeteners have been linked to cancer and other diseases.

The Protein source is not from natural sources which are a big concern for a lot of people since it is not ideal to get protein only from processed goods.

Is Bang Keto Coffee Good or Bad ?

As mentioned before, energy drinks are rarely a good choice since they add a large concentration of caffeine and sugar to your system in order to ‘alert’ the body, following a brutal energy crash which leaves you feeling low. Although Bang energy drink may be ‘keto friendly’ but it has a lot of artificial ingredients that may cause more harm than good.

You should not expect Bang Keto Coffee to fill you up with protein and fibre as a source of workout energy. Although it contains a decent amount of Vitamins but it is also packed with SUPER CREATINE and BCAAs (which are not so healthy if consumed for a long time) and the quantities in each serving have not been disclosed even by the company itself.

Losing weight with keto is an excellent choice but do not compensate your coffee cravings with Bang Keto Coffee.
